Anniken Huitfeldt

Norway’s Ambassador to the United States.

She has a long history of public service, most recently serving as Foreign Minister from 2021 to 2023. She has also held three Cabinet positions with Jens Stoltenberg’s Government. She has a longstanding career in the Norwegian Parliament, where she led its Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense for eight years.

She calls Jessheim, a town close to Oslo, home. As a young adult, she studied at the University of Oslo and the London School of Economics, and she later achieved a master’s degree in foreign policy. She also worked as a researcher for five years.

Lori Ann Reinhall

A graduate of the University of Washington Department of Scandinavian Studies, is a supporter of all things Nordic. She is currently the president of the Seattle-Bergen Sister City Association and vice president of the Northwest Edvard Grieg Society.

After a career in software internationalization, she turned to journalism and served as the editor-in-chief of The Norwegian American newspaper for many years. Lori Ann, a great supporter of the arts, is known for musical productions on both sides of the Atlantic.
