17th of May volunteers needed! Let’s join together in the spirit of Syttende Mai!

Please join in with the festivities and volunteer during the Syttende Mai Parade on Wednesday, May 17!
The 17th of May Committee is looking for some energetic parade-loving volunteers to assist the Committee and the Seafair Marshal’s with parade logistics, check-in and monitoring street closures along the parade route.
Some positions require the ability to briefly lift 50 lbs. to move street closure barricades and have a cell phone for communication. Don’t forget comfortable shoes as the Norns have foretold significant walking. Shifts are 3:30 – 8:30pm.
If needed, the 17th of May Committee will provide a fluorescent safety vest, but recommend that you bring a folding chair to rest and watch the wonderful Ballard 17th of May parade go by!
